This combination of medium and dark roast beans come from South and Central America for unique undertones of caramel and cocoa. This coffee combines light acidity with a full-bodied flavour for an unbeatable smooth brew.

This coffee is also Bird Friendly Certified, a unique ethical initiative taken by Balzac's. Famous Canadian author and bird lover Margaret Atwood partners with Balzac's to create a Smithsonian Institute certified Bird Friendly® blend. This certification raises funds and awareness for the Pelee Island Bird Observatory (PIBO) at the western end of Lake Erie. PIBO is a not for profit organization which studies and conserves migratory birds. Their goal is to collect and disperse information that will help us understand the migratory changes taking place. For each pound of Atwood Blend sold, $1 will be donated to PIBO.
